The Braehead Manor has quickly become one of my favorite venues in Fredericksburg, Virginia. In addition to the bridal session featured in this blog, it was also the location where my beautiful wife, Peggy and I were married this past April.
If you are looking for a venue with elegance and grace Braehead Manor is that and more. Nestled in the heart of Frederickburg's National Park Service, you will find the drive down Lee Drive arriving at Braehead Manor, breathtaking. The venue also serves as a bed and breakfast which we were able to take advantage of during our wedding and absolutely loved it!
The venue is set on a gorgeous piece of property and is historically significant in the area as well. General Robert E Lee spent time during the Civil War here and the tree in the right corner of the first image below is where he tied his horse "Traveller" to rest during his stay.
The inside of the manor is absolutely gorgeous. To say that Braehead Manor is stunning is an understatement as is its understated elegance. The manor's decor perfectly captures the feeling of the time period it was built in after undergoing restoration in 2011. The romantic ambiance is the perfect place to celebrate your special wedding day. Peggy and I have become quite found of our time there from both our wedding and the bridal session featured below, we hope you love it as much as we do!
